Elmfield Rural Finance is run by Luke Haslam MSc MRICS, a chartered surveyor who has extensive experience working with farming and rural businesses, and Kirsty Haslam LLB (hons) who holds degrees in English Law and French Law.
Having trained and qualified with a firm of rural practice chartered surveyors, Luke then established his own property business in North Yorkshire which was subsequently sold after four years to a national property firm. This grounding has given him a strong understanding of the needs of rural businesses. Luke holds an MSc Degree in Surveying, is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers.
Kirsty graduated with degrees in Law from both English and French universities. She has a keen eye for detail and is used to dealing with everything from large institutions to sole traders. Over the years she has worked in a number of sectors, and has spoken at national conferences on ways of sustaining the rural economy.
We have extensive contacts with a large panel of lending institutions many of whom are not available on the high street. We work closely with clients to ensure that the right funding option is found for your specific needs. We are happy to work alongside your existing professional advisors, be they solicitors, accountants or land agents to achieve the best overall outcome for you.
We live with our family in North Yorkshire where in addition to running Elmfield Rural Finance, we also breed pedigree Wensleydale sheep on the family property and are also partners in hospitality and wool businesses.
